Gangaalaharii of Jagannatha Panditaraja – An Introduction in Samskrit by Dr. HR Vishwas

Gangaalahari is a widely acknowledged poetic masterpiece in Samskrit by a medieval Sanskrit poet Jagannatha panditaraaja, a renowned 17th-century Samskrit scholar in the court of Mughal ruler, Shahjahan. This is a clip of a 1-hour video published by Samskrita Bharati. In this talk, Shri HRVishwas elucidates the poetic beauty of this work. Dr. HR Vishwas is a winner of India’s prestigious Sahitya Academy Award, a well-known Samskrit scholar who dedicates his full time to bring Samskrit back into daily life.
